I am looking forward to more UK based bands to come by this year: PJ Harvey, Leftfield and, of course, Portishead.

Last night I saw an up and coming band called Brother… Neo-Britpop. We’ll probably hear more from them in the near future.

This was, for me, probably the most anticipated concert of 2010. I have been following Massive Attack since 1991 and saw them 3 times in the ’90s. The last time at a festival in Nîmes disappointed me but still, I could not wait to see them live again. Thanks to Matt (@mattheartspade), I got to shoot the concert at Terminal 5. The show was amazing and it totally brought me back to 1993. Here is a selection of the best shots of the night.

La Roux, in 2010 went from unknown in the US to a Grammys winner for the electronic/dance album of the year. This picture was taken on the last day of her tour. After a short rest, I hope she’s working on a new album.

Pendulum is one of these British bands that are one single away from being famous in the US. Maybe a soundtrack hit like Metric had with Twillight or a song picked up by the radio à la “Bulletproof” from La Roux. They surely know how to move a young, shirtless and sweaty crowd!
